Local youth runners in the Page School District of Page, AZ, are at the heart of this fundraiser. Many of these young athletes come from the Navajo reservation and face unique challenges in accessing the support and supplies they need to succeed in both education and athletics. As someone who grew up in this community and experienced these struggles firsthand, I know how much of a difference a helping hand can make.

This fundraiser will help send youth runners to a summer altitude running camp and provide a local running camp for younger kids. The funds raised will go directly toward travel expenses, rental fees, food, and camp shirts for every child who attends. By supporting this cause, you’re giving these kids the chance to grow, learn, and thrive through running—an opportunity that can change lives.

I am honored to be on the start list for the 2026 Cocodona 250 mile run, a journey that will take me from Black Canyon City through Crown King, Prescott, Jerome, Sedona, and finally to downtown Flagstaff. I am dedicating this challenge to the youth runners in my community.
