My son Paco Garcia, lost his home on 12/6/24 due to a fire. We are unsure of the cause but we are so thankful that he was not home, no one was hurt, and the fire didn’t damage any surrounding properties. He is staying with me as long as needed and through the generosity of many people we have been able to get him some clothes and essentials for now. I’ve been reaching out to Red Cross and other resources to see what support he can get. I’m not sure the cost of what’s to come like demolishing the house, and the contractors to do the work but I was thinking of ways to raise money to help… His home was inherited from his grandpa but in my name. The insurance companies would not cover the home due to the wildfires in our area and the type of home it was. All donated funds received will go toward replacing Paco’s home. We appreciate everyone that has and will support our family through this endeavor.
