ANOTHER UPDATE: Pablo is doing well so far. Showing movement on his right side but still limited on the left (the side his disc ruptured). UPDATE: hi all! Pablo’s surgery has happened! I wouldn’t have been able to do it without you all raising the down payment of 11k! His disc essentially ruptured and they removed all of that to stop applying pressure on his spinal cords. It will be a process for the next few months but I will keep providing updates on my IG on his progress! <3 thank you so much to the dedicated vets and neurologists at Southeast Veterinary Neurology!

Hi, my name is Deja, and I’m raising funds for my dog Pablo, who urgently needs spinal surgery due to IVDD. He’s currently unable to walk, in pain, and needs help with basic things like going to the bathroom.

I’ve been giving him meds, doing daily stretches, and following neurologist instructions, but surgery is the current path to recovery (he’s at a 4 out of 5 so time is of the essence). The total cost is over $14,000, and I need to put down an $11,000 deposit just to begin. This comes only a year after another emergency surgery to save his life.

Pablo is my best friend and emotional support. Watching him go through this has been heartbreaking. He’s such an active dog and deserves this chance. I never imagined having to ask for help like this, but I can’t do it alone.
