My name is Pablo, and I am a first-generation college student who has been blessed with the incredible opportunity to study abroad in Barcelona. I come from a rough and challenging background. I’ve had to overcome many obstacles, but by the grace of God, I’ve been able to turn my life around and pursue my education with determination and purpose. I am now a straight-A student at Rio Hondo College majoring in Social Work & Human Services. I chose my career path because I want to help transform the lives of troubled youth, which I once was. This study-abroad experience is a dream come true, but I need help raising the funds to make it a reality. Any support will not only help me reach Barcelona—it will help me continue breaking barriers and building a future I once never thought possible.
