Hi everyone,

My name is Pablo, and I’m a first-generation Latino, non-binary college student studying vocal performance. I work while going to school full-time, and I’m reaching out because I need support covering the cost of an upcoming choir trip to New York as well as audition fees for music programs. All living expenses and school expenses are covered by me. Summer programs and overall performance experience are essential to building a career in music.

This trip is a huge opportunity for me—not only as a performer, but as someone trying to build a future in music. Being part of this choir means a lot, and traveling to New York to perform is something I’ve worked hard for. This, along with applying for summer programs for the upcoming year, are two very pricey goals.

The reality is that most of my income goes directly toward rent, bills, and basic living expenses. Even with working as much as I can, it’s extremely difficult to afford extra costs like travel, food, and audition expenses.

Funds will help cover:

Choir trip travel and accommodations

Program audition fees

Required performance expenses

Bills and rent while I am away.
