Support Ozzy’s Surgery for a Pain-Free Life

Ozzy is a 9 month old puppy that was adopted from Mostly Muttz Rescue this past July. He was just diagnosed with hip dysplasia, a condition where the hip socket is too shallow to properly support the femur. This is a hereditary condition that unfortunately could not have been avoided.

Ozzy is a very active puppy who loves to play with his older brother, Frank. This condition has affected his quality of life, and causes him to cry out in pain after he spends time playing or running around in the snow.

The solution is to do bilateral femoral head ostectomies. This is a surgery that removes the ball of the femur to stop bone on bone contact, and will need to be done in both hips. This will alleviate his discomfort with daily activities, and get him back to living a normal, pain free life.

Ozzy is the most loving, loyal, and funny dog you can imagine. It’s very important to us to do what we can to provide him a long, pain free life. If you know us, you know that our dogs are part of the family, not just pets. Ozzy is young, but he’s already made a lasting impact on us, and his wellbeing is a top priority.

We ask for your help with Ozzy’s surgery expenses. Any little bit can help us tremendously. If you do not have the means to donate, we’d appreciate it if you could share this so we can get him the help he most desperately needs. Thank you so much for reading!

Much love,
Jenny & Sean
