Hello, my name is Michael. I’m 24 years old, and I’m looking to raise money to help my amazing little German Shepherd pup, Ozzy. Ozzy is currently 11 months old, and he is one smart cookie. He’s so friendly that if he hurt a fly, I’m pretty sure he would apologize. He's one of the most lovable and personable little dogs you could ever meet, but he requires some help.

When Ozzy was just eight weeks old, he took a hard fall resulting in a broken front left leg. Ozzy was then placed in a cast for ten weeks with regular follow-up appointments biweekly. After the removal of the cast, Ozzy began limping, but that seemed normal due to the weakness of the leg. As Ozzy grew, his left leg grew crooked due to improper growth, which also resulted in issues with his right elbow. The elbow injury is mostly due to consistently using his right leg as a crutch for the originally injured left leg. He gets around pretty well but has issues running and is quite lethargic after exercise or extensive walking, often whimpering in pain.

Both issues require surgery to fix so he can walk properly again and live pain-free (hopefully). Many people know Ozzy, and if you don’t, he comes to work with me every day at Hey Juicy II in Rices Landing, and he loves visitors. Any help would be greatly appreciated by both me and Ozzy.
