Hi everyone,

Quick update on Ozzy. While his recovery from the heart transplant has been going well, he has unfortunately tested positive for COVID-19.

This means an unexpected additional 20 days away from home in TN for Ozzy. This also extends the time that he'll need support, adding to their already challenging financial situation.

I'm Sarah, Ozzy's sister-in-law, and I'm putting this GoFundMe together because my brother-in-law really needs our help right now. I am sure you all know Ozzy, and you know he is a great person with a good heart, who has been through a lot these last few years. Now, he is facing one of his biggest challenges! He is currently in Tennessee, about to have a heart transplant. After a lot of waiting and praying, this is finally it! His chance for a longer and healthier life.

Ozzy is a Marine Veteran who is only 48, and he is a great dad to my two nephews, and a great husband to my sister-in-law Tarra. Being so far from home in Tennessee means they will need to be there for months, and Tarra won't be able to work. We all really want to help ease their burden so they can focus on Ozzy's recovery. Every dollar we raise will help them stay in Tennessee and cover the costs of this long, healing journey.
