Update on Ozzie: We want to take a moment and thank everyone who has donated, liked and shared our go fund me for our little guy.

He is scheduled for surgery on August 12th and still has a long journey to recovery. They are suggesting water treadmill therapy once he is done recovering from surgery.

We were saving for a small wedding but have decided that Ozzie comes first. We are still taking donations up until and after his surgery date if any of our friends, family and strangers are willing and able to donate.

This is very humbling and we are so grateful for the support of our friends and family. You, much like Ozzie mean so much to us.

On Tuesday, June 4th, we were playing fetch with Ozzie in the back grass area of our complex. We threw the ball just as we did for the past 6 years when playing Ozzie’s favorite game, fetch. This time as he leaped in the air he did not chase the ball to the end of the long dog run. He came back mid chase limping. Since then he has been hopping and not putting any pressure on that back leg. We took him to the vet on Saturday, June 7th and the doctor all but confirmed the news we had been dreading to hear. Torn ACL. So now we are here asking our friends and family if they can spare some extra money to help us pay the $8,000 for surgery.

All of the money will go to Ozzie and his expenses for surgery and PT.
