OyKay’s original content sparks curiosity in younger viewers and their families, helping them forge lifelong connections and commitments to Jewish traditions, values, and history.
At OyKay, we believe that everyone deserves to connect meaningfully with their heritage in fun and relevant ways.
Crowdfunding and Tax Information
We use all of the funds we raise in their entirety—minus applicable taxes and fees (gofundme or transfers)—to cover the costs of producing and disseminating our content. This includes fair compensation for our artists and other workers.
Donations to this fundraiser are not tax deductible. We hope for this to change soon! OyKay is in the process of registering as a nonprofit in the Czech Republic. Once established, we will seek a nonprofit partner in the USA to facilitate tax-deductions for donors.
We are using GoFundMe for this raise. They only charge a 2.9% + $0.30 fee on each donation or a 5% fee on each recurring donation. The rest of the money goes to OyKay.
