Our family’s world was turned completely upside down when our sweet nephew, Owen, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia on Tuesday. What began as a hospital visit on Monday quickly became every parent’s worst nightmare, and the reality of this journey is setting in very fast.

Owen is only 19 months old, and is already such a fighter as he started his chemotherapy treatments yesterday. He is surrounded by so much love, especially from his parents, Alyssa and Dave, who are truly the most amazing people and incredible parents. Their lives changed overnight as they stay by his side and do everything they can to support him through treatment. They are making big sacrifices so they can be fully present for Owen during this time. We started this GoFundMe to help support Alyssa and Dave so they can focus on Owen and his healing without worrying about how everything else will be handled.
