Hello, my name is Chuck, Cheri's dad, Owen's father-in-law. I am looking to raise some money to help Cheri and Owen, who live in Oregon, with the financial support they will need to survive after Owen's accident.

For those of you who do not know, Owen is in a burn unit in Portland, Oregon, with severe burns over at least 50% of his body. It will be a long road of recovery for him, Cheri, and their daughter Kylee. He will need multiple surgeries and physical therapy. Their home is approximately 275 miles, 5 to 6 hours away, so there will be many trips back and forth as he will be months away from home.

Unexpected, sometimes devastating things happen in our lives. They very much appreciate the outpouring of calls and texts showing your love and support. Any amount of financial support you can help with will also be very much appreciated.

UPDATE: Now as of this afternoon, Thursday February 13, if you think things can't get worse, I get a phone call that Cheri was on her way to the hospital with Kylee to see her husband Owen, and she was involved in a multi vehicle accident. She was pushed down a hill into a tree by a semi-truck, and they had to cut the tree down to get her out of the car. Thank God she didn't sustain any serious injuries.

Now she doesn't even have a car to go visit her husband in the hospital.
