In the early hours of Saturday, July 26, 2025, a devastating fire swept through a condo building on Topside in Overlook Village, leaving six families with nothing but the clothes on their backs. These residents lost their homes and all of their belongings in a matter of moments, and now face the overwhelming challenge of starting over from scratch.

Right now, these families urgently need help with basic essentials—clothing, food, and other necessities to get through the coming days and weeks. The Overlook Village community has always been known for its strong sense of support and togetherness. In this difficult time, neighbors are coming together to help those affected in any way possible, but the need is great and immediate.

By contributing to this fundraiser, you’ll be providing direct relief to the six families who lost everything in the fire. Every donation will go toward helping them rebuild their lives and meet their most urgent needs. Your support will make a real difference as we work together to help our neighbors recover from this tragedy.

The identities of the 6 families are not being disclosed here for privacy reasons. I will be distributing all funds via checks to the families with the help of the Wharton Borough Police Department.  Thank you for all of your support!
