Help Us Keep the Lights On for the Milwaukee Buccaneers Youth Sports & Mentorship Program

For over 25 years, the Milwaukee Buccaneers have been a pillar in our community—empowering youth through sports, mentorship, and life-building opportunities. We’re more than just a team, we’re a family, a safe space, and a source of strength for kids who need it most.

But today, we need your help.

Serving a low-income community, the Milwaukee Buccaneers provide hundreds of local youths with access to organized sports, positive role models, and life-changing mentorship. On our fields, kids learn more than the game—they learn teamwork, leadership, resilience, and trust. For many, this program is their one constant and their first step toward a brighter future.

Unfortunately, rising costs are threatening our ability to keep this vital program running. Right now, we’re facing:

Increasing league fees that are putting strain on families and our nonprofit

Aging, worn-out equipment that needs replacement to ensure the safety and success of our players

Soaring utility costs, especially for field lighting, which is crucial for evening practices and games

Without your support, we’re at risk of losing more than just a season—we could lose a safe haven and opportunity hub for our youth.

We’re asking for your help to raise $3,500, so we can:

Keep the field lights on and ensure our kids have a safe space to play and grow

Offset rising league and tournament fees so no child is turned away

Purchase new equipment and uniforms that keep our athletes safe, proud, and confident

Sustain our mentorship programming that guides kids off the field, too
