Help our Ukrainian Planit Team

Both Webcor and Suffolk have worked closely with the Ukraine-based company Planit, our “Back Office”, for more than a decade now. They have played an integral role in creating and managing the BIM behind the projects we build. A lot of us have spent time working with them directly or indirectly and I will tell you they are a vital part to our success.
Most of us are aware by now of the horrible events currently occurring in Ukraine. Unfortunately, our Planit colleagues have been significantly impacted by the ongoing war. Planit is headquartered in Kharkiv, Ukraine, a city about 30 miles west of the Russian border. It has been one of the hardest hit cities. They also have Ukraine offices in Lviv and Dnipro. Several of the 50+ employees and their families were able to successfully take refuge in Poland, where other Planit offices have been set up. However, some are still stuck in Ukraine and will have to ride it out the war there.
This Go Fund Me is set up to help support our Ukrainian colleagues with living, transportation, medical and other expenses to make it through this tough time. Planit is currently taking great care of their employees and has secured apartments for them and their families in Poland (including children, parents, and grandparents). We plan to provide the donations to Planit leadership to assist in this effort. Both Webcor and Suffolk have committed to matching donations up to $5K each.

This picture is from the top of a bell tower in Lviv's town square. The city remains one of the most important centers of Ukrainian cultural, economic and political life and is noted for its beautiful and diverse architecture.
