Ukraine is a nation of kindness, full of resilient people who desperately need and deserve our support right now. Until resources are made available by NATO, these citizens have no choice but to depend on the generosity of more fortunate people like you and me. Among the refugees are 36 Altrüus team members and their families. To be direct, we are trying to keep these humans, whom we consider our family, alive and safe by providing them money, food and shelter.

 

As our eyes are fixed on the war in Ukraine, so many of us feel helpless and overwhelmed, not knowing how to make a meaningful contribution. In 2016 I met Yegor Mytrofavov and Sasha Turischev, two very talented young designers that lived in Kharkiv, Ukraine.  With their passion and expertise for digital design they helped us improve our platform’s user experience extraordinarily.

 

 

They also introduced us to Polina Stepaniuk, an incredible Project Manager; Yuriy Teslenko, who would become our CTO; and Kristina Bezveselnaya, our Marketing Director; amongst others in the team.

 

These are all now friends whom we love. They are a talented and hard-working team that has been stripped of their livelihood. They will undoubtedly bounce back and add value to the world, but they need our help during these unjust war times.
