Hello,

We’re expecting twins very soon, and while we’re overjoyed, the early arrival has brought urgent and unexpected challenges. Twin A’s umbilical cord blood flow has become completely reversed, and although she is 29 weeks, she is currently the size of a 24-week-old baby, estimated at just 1lb 11oz. Twin B is doing okay, but without delivering both of them soon, Twin A may not make it. She is also showing signs of “brain sparing,” meaning her body is prioritizing vital organs due to the stress she’s under.

On top of this, the hospital where our twins will be born isn’t close to home, which makes commuting for appointments and hospital visits long and stressful. It’s crucial for our daughter to meet her new sisters—something she’s been eagerly looking forward to—and for me to have the emotional support of my family around me during these first precious moments. The thought of them being a long drive away instead of just 15 minutes adds extra stress during an already critical time.

Any support you can give would go directly toward travel costs, essential care, and even a short stay in a hotel for the first week so we can all be together and adjust as a family. I’m desperate for other stresses to be easier so we can stay strong together for the twins and our daughter we already have. And with us being self employed we are relying on a small amount of benefit's to cover costs which it really does not.
