Help Send Our Athletes to Argentina For the Newell's Cup!

Bronson Youth Sports is proud to announce an incredible opportunity for four of our 17U Bronson soccer players, along with one standout player from a neighboring program in Williston—they’ve been invited to compete in the world-famous Newell’s Cup tournament this October in Rosario, Argentina!

This is more than just a tournament—it's a once-in-a-lifetime chance to represent our small town of Bronson on an international stage.

Last November, one of our standout Bronson U10 players had his highlights seen online and was selected to join an international team at the Newell’s Cup. He was the only American player invited and became just the second athlete in U.S. history to compete in the tournament, following players from Inter Miami’s youth academy. His performance left a lasting impression on tournament officials.

For those who know the sport, Newell’s Old Boys needs no introduction. Based in Rosario, Argentina, the club is famous for developing some of the world’s greatest soccer talents, including none other than Lionel Messi, Gabriel Batistuta, and Marcelo Bielsa. Competing at their grounds is like stepping onto hallowed soccer turf—a dream for any young player.

Because of the strong impression left during our last visit, the tournament director has extended a special invitation to five of our 2009-born Bronson players to return and compete this October.

This is a monumental opportunity not only for these young athletes but also for the entire Bronson community. We are a small town with big dreams, and this invitation places Bronson on the international map in youth soccer.

To make this happen, we are raising funds to cover travel, lodging, tournament fees, and uniforms. What makes this even more special is that our players will be joining forces with a club from Peru and four players from Brazil, making theirs the largest international team in the tournament—a true symbol of global unity through sport.
