Support our Sweet Stacy

Donation protected
UPDATE:
It’s been over a year since our sweet Stacy’s diagnosis…Since then she’s had her big surgery and two separate rounds of radiation, CT scans galore and a few MRIs. Each month sweet Stacy is anxious to hear good news that the current chemo is working and keeping the main cancer at bay. This GoFund Me continues to serve as a way to fund Stacy’s medical care, extra necessities, and comforts.

Stacy hopes to be able to use some of these funds towards a few spring and summertime trips between rounds of chemo. This is the last summer before Saylor heads off to college. Stacy would love to see some beautiful places in her own backyard (California) with her amazing, soon to be high school graduate.

Stacy is a single mom and Saylor means everything to her. This fund comforts Stacy by knowing she has a safe nest egg when unexpected costs occur, such as needing to hire a caregiver. Recently, Stacy was told she has a brain tumor, which has brought up unexpected added costs to her care. This Go Fund Me helps Stacy cover those costs and helps keep her feeling comfortable and not having to worry about money. Please consider donating to our sweet, sweet Stacy during this season of giving. Thank you for your continued support for our girl.

Hello everyone!
I wanted to give you all an update on my GoFundMe since it’s been awhile since we’ve talked about it! Thanks to all of you I was able to purchase a brand new and amazing adjustable bed. It truly is essential to my care. My intent for this GoFundMe is to use the money raised towards medical expenses and needs. As you can imagine, medical supplies and bills are never ending when you have stage IV cancer. My next projection is a possible trip to MD Anderson in Houston, Texas. They are the #1 Cancer Center in the U.S. They have a particular program designed particularly for young-onset colorectal cancer patients diagnosed before 50 years of age. Not only would this give us a second opinion, the program would give advice tailored to my age group. The funds would allow me to be able to explore any and all possibilities that present themselves during my journey with cancer as I am 100% committed to prolonging my life. You all have been tremendously supportive and it truly keeps my spirits high. Thank you again for your outpouring of love.

In less than two months, Stacy will be celebrating her 50th birthday! Not only is this a big birthday, but Syacy views birthdays a little differently these days, as you can imagine. Let's help her celebrate by donating $50 for her 50th birthday (or $25 because Stacy is so young at heart)! Stacy would love to celebrate her birthday at the beach after all she has been through this year... so let's help make that happen! Any amount would be appreciated. Wish Stacy a HAPPY BIRTHDAY in the comments with your donation.

As Stacy continues living her worst nightmare, she remains hopeful. Stacy is hopeful that she will have answers to questions that are constantly on her mind… Will the pain ever stop? Will the treatment plan work? When will she have surgery? What are the next steps? Stacy is hoping that she will be able to do a clinical trial in the near future. Unfortunately, clinical trials can be costly due to travel expenses, not to mention taking the time off of work. Your donations will help offset these costs for both Stacy and Ma, and help ease Stacy’s mind so that she can focus on her health. Your donations also help pay for Stacy’s copays, as her deductible started over with the new year.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who has donated so far. Stacy is so very grateful for the continued support her friends and family give her. She feels the love and it warms her heart.

If you know Stacy, you know that she is a bright ray of sunshine full of joy and positivity! She is going through a challenging time and needs our help.

After not feeling well and experiencing terrible back pains for a while, Stacy underwent many tests, and her diagnosis is nothing short of horrific. Tests so far show she has rectal cancer, and a large mass has developed near her rectum. She is exhausted and in excruciating pain. The doctors at City of Hope continue to assess a few more spots to determine the stage. This will require a few more tests over the next month. Initially, Stacy will undergo six months of Chemo and Radiation to shrink the mass and remove it with surgery hopefully. Stacy is in this for a long haul. She is unsure how her body will react to the Chemo and Radiation. Stacy has been told she may experience hair loss. Stacy's beautiful 16-year-old daughter, Saylor, will also need support during this difficult time. Stacy's wonderful mother, Jean (Ma), is here helping both Stacy and Saylor.
