Support our Superhero Uriah in his fight after brain surgery
Donation protected
On Friday, June 6th, my sweet nephew Uriah had a traumatic accident and had to be airlifted to Levine's Children's Hospital. He had emergency brain surgery and is currently in the ICU. He is a fighter and is doing well. We know Jesus is on the move and working miracles for Uriah! We're so proud of him and so thankful for our miracle boy!
There are a lot of unknowns and a full road ahead to recovery. Ariel and Joshua are staying by his side while also switching to care for their other two children. As you can imagine, this is a very hard time for our family. Ariel and Joshua are staying as strong as they can for Uriah and their other babies.
While they're going through this very tragic time, we don't want them having to worry about food, gas, and all the medical bills that will start flooding in. There have been so many people asking how they can show their support and wanting to help, so I thought this was the best way.
Update on Uriah
We wanted to take a moment to share an update on our sweet boy. After undergoing brain surgery last week and spending a week in the ICU, we’re so thankful to share that he is now out of the ICU and has been moved into a surgical care room.
He is awake, talking, and working hard each day with physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy. Yesterday, he stood up and walked for the first time! A huge milestone that brought so much joy to our hearts and filled our eyes with tears.
Uriah has shown an incredible amount of strength through it all. From every poke and needle to the tough therapy sessions and emotional moments, he has been so brave and so strong. He continues to amaze us and his team of doctors and nurses, with his miraculous recovery each day. He truly is our miracle boy, facing every obstacle with courage and determination that inspires us. He’s our Super Hero!
He still has some challenges ahead. He is not yet able to eat on his own and has a feeding tube in. He needs to pass a few more tests before it can be removed, so we ask for your continued prayers that he will be able to eat on his own soon.
Tomorrow, he will undergo a second surgery to place the bone flap back in his head. We’ve been told to expect swelling all over again and another recovery period. They also said there can be some complications that go with it so help us pray hard that everything goes smoothly.
He’s been very emotional…
understandably and is feeling a bit down and asking to go home, so please also keep him in your prayers for peace, comfort, and emotional strength. Even on the hardest days, he continues to push through with a strength that leaves us in awe.
As Uriah fights and heals, we also want to share that this journey has taken a deep toll on us all. We are physically, mentally, and emotionally exhausted. The days and nights are long and hard….as our little family can’t all be together at this time. We’re doing our best to stay strong for Uriah, but we would be so grateful for your continued prayers for strength, endurance, and encouragement for our whole family as we navigate these incredibly difficult days.
We are deeply grateful for every single prayer, message, meal, visit, donation, and gesture of love that we’ve received. Words truly cannot express how much it has meant to our family. We thank the Lord for His healing hand and for surrounding us with such an incredible community.
This journey is far from over, but we feel hopeful. Please continue to keep our son in your thoughts and prayers as he faces the next steps. We are overwhelmed with gratitude and love and simply can’t thank everyone enough for the generosity and kindness that has been shown.
With all our hearts,
Thank you!

I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”
