Hello, My name is Cameron. For as long as I can remember I’ve loved story telling more than anything, so it only made sense that as I would grow up, my passion would blossom into becoming an artist. I am proud to say that me and my wonderful cast and crew will be putting on the first fully student run musical at our highschool, Next to Normal, and we need your support! With the cost of publicity, props, wood, equipment, and even the rights to the show, a donation from you to help young artists means the world. This is a very exciting passion project that will go hand in hand with a research paper I am writing, arguing against student censorship in high school theater. Next to Normal is the brilliant, Pulitzer Prize winning rock musical that tells the story of a mother struggling with her metal health and the toll it takes on her family. It’s a daring piece that still to this day offers a powerful insight on the devastating effects of mental illness. Our brilliant cast and crew Cameron Firoozi(Director), Logan Booth, Abby Bishai, Gabriel Neves, Ryan Trefz, Nick Lopez and Blessindia Danurwenda are inviting you not only to donate but to come see the show From April 22-25 at 7pm and 25th at 1pm. The show is located in the Blackbox Theatre at Corona Del Mar. For more information, go visit our instagram. Any amount of donation to help support the arts is greatly appreciated. Live theater is such an important art form we cannot afford to lose, and your support keeps our creative work thriving. We hope to reach our goal of 3100 dollars to put on successful and groundbreaking show at our highschool. For any other information about funding or the show, contact me so I can further clarify. We hope that you can support in any way you can. Thank you for your consideration, and thank you for believing in young artists.
