Hafa Adai! We are the Spring 2025 Indie Filmmaking Class of the University of Guam. Under the supervision of our professor Dr. Raymond Anderson and our Class Director Elianna Cuevas, we are producing a short film called Torn In Love for our final project. This film will be submitted to local Guam film festivals as well as film festivals nationwide. We have been do blessed to work alongside partners like Business & Technology Charter School and their amazing students to help put together this film. Even with this, we are still in need of funds to help us finish the film strong. We are looking for donations to help cover the costs for the following: actor salaries, location rental, food, and wardrobe & props. For many of us, this is our first major production, and we could not be more excited to share this passion project with the world! Furthermore, we are so proud to showcase the amazing up-and-coming talent on Guam through our actors and amazing crew! If you are able to donate, we would love your support!
About the Film:
The script was written by our very own class members Elianna Cuevas & Christine Ayuste. Torn in Love is a moody, character-driven exploration of obsession, delusion, and the fine
line between admiration and control. The film is told largely from Annaʼs point of view, immersing the audience in her fantasy world as it fractures under pressure. The film prioritizes tension, emotional realism, and psychological complexity over shock value.
