This GoFundMe supports the production of our capstone short film, a period-piece project that represents the culmination of our film studies and creative development.

As student filmmakers, this project is our opportunity to apply years of training in writing, directing, production design, and collaboration to a fully realized short film. Capstone projects are often the first professional-quality work emerging filmmakers create, and they play a major role in opening doors to festivals, grants, and future opportunities.

Period films come with unique production challenges. Creating a believable historical world requires careful attention to detail—costumes, props, locations, lighting, and sound all must work together to create authenticity. These elements are essential, not optional, and they come with costs that are difficult to cover as a student.
