Happy Friday, everybody.

As some of you know, we have a stray cat that comes to visit us. We feed him. I've not been able to get close enough to him to pet him or pick him up, but he does trust us enough to come up on the porch and eat and let us be around him.

Well, this past week I noticed a spot on his head, which I thought was a hole and that someone had maybe shot him with a BB gun. His eye also was red and glossy. Thankfully, a friend let us borrow a trap so that we could catch him and get him to the vet. We were able to get him last night. Thankfully, he wasn't shot; upon closer look, that wasn't a hole. His eye, however, has a ruptured cornea. It does bother him.

Dr. Savage at Clermont Vet is going to remove his eye so that it'll heal properly and not hurt or give him trouble. He is also going to fix him/her and let me know for sure if he is a boy or girl. Please say a prayer that he does well. We've been hit rather hard the last two months with unexpected expenses. We could really use the help with this one.
