Help Us Support Our Derrick After a Tragic 18-Wheeler Accident

I’m the father of the Derrick Osborn, who was severely injured in a devastating 18-wheeler accident. This tragedy has completely turned our world upside down, and we are doing everything we can to get him the medical care he desperately needs.

Unfortunately, the company my son worked for did not provide workers’ compensation because, in the state of Texas, employers are not required to have it. Instead, they only carried liability insurance, which does not cover medical injuries. This has left us facing overwhelming hospital bills on top of the emotional toll of this situation.

For those who know my son, you know he is hardworking, kind, and was excited to welcome his first child into the world in just one month. Heartbreakingly, due to the severity of his injuries, he will not be able to be there for that moment. But we are holding onto faith—by Jesus’ stripes, he is healed.
