On July 2, some of our friends and community members were involved in an airplane accident in Williamstown and were taken to a hospital with many injuries. As the jumpers are working through the steps necessary for their recovery, we would like to come together to support them as a true dropzone family can. This fundraiser is meant to collect funds to help cover their out of pocket medical expenses, time away from work, living expenses, damaged gear and other costs. Our goal is to raise (Update 7/18: Due to the overwhelming response, we are raising our goal by 10k to $45,000 to help the guys who will be out of work for a long time to cover their living expenses while they recover) and share it among the jump instructors and skydivers affected by the accident. Every donation regardless of the amount is greatly appreciated. Please help us share this campaign with others. These guys have spent their careers lifting other people up, now it's time for us to come together and help them out. We are deeply grateful for your support!
Please note that this fundraiser is being organized on behalf of those directly impacted by this accident. Donations will directly benefit the following:
- Aleh S
- Art L
- Drew N
- Ian S
- Jake N
- Jeff M
- Range L
Donations are being managed by Bert and Sara and will be split evenly among the beneficiaries. The first distribution will occur Monday July 28 and the fundraiser will remain open until the full goal has been met/and or at the conclusion of the fundraiser
