Hi there, my name is Justin De Leon and I am a writer/director in my final semester at San Francisco State University. I have spent the past 5 years honing my craft of screenwriting and learning every facet of film production.

I am currently in the process of pre-production for my short thesis film "Nyctophobia". This production will be my directorial debut and it is an opportunity for which I am most fortunate to have.

This short's story is of a maintenance worker tasked with changing lightbulbs. The only issue, he has a deep-seated fear of the dark. This story is personal as I am tackling my own fears of the dark.

This film would not be possible without the support of my producers, Brooklyn Napier and Nicole Salgado, as well as the visual mastermind for this project, Director of Photography Michael Cochran.

Working alongside this powerhouse team, I will be able to bring my vision of terrifying darkness to life.
