Support our short film: Hooked

Hey everyone!

My name is Niko Razavi, and I'm one of the co-producers for REALITY UCSB's short film Hooked.

Synopsis: Christine is pulled away from her unsupportive friends by her ex, Nathan, to discuss what went wrong in their relationship. After a messy fight, Christine has reached a new low when suddenly a mysterious girl appears and changes her life forever...or what's left of it.

We’re raising money for our film, which is a psychological fantasy thriller about desire and passion, and the consequences that come with it. Anyone who has read the script for this film knows it has so much potential, which is why it was one of three films (out of 15 that were sent in) to win the pitch during pitches week! That means we have funding for crafts and are provided with some equipment from the club, but we're going to need more help if we want to turn this fantasy into reality.

Our writer and director, Serine Kugler, has poured her heart into this project, and we're eager to start shooting! But in order to do that, we need support from YOU! We are passionate filmmakers studying at UCSB hoping to share this story with everyone. Donations will help cover pre-and post-production costs such as camera equipment, props, design, location fees, and more.
