To the friends, family and neighbors of Shane Amen, I humbly ask you for any financial assistance you can provide to Shane Amen and Kristie Green during their time of need.

As many of you know, Shane was involved in a tragic/freak ATV accident a week ago at his home in Etoile. This caused an open fracture of both his fibula and tibia bones of his left leg. The damage to his leg was extensive. He was treated in a Nacogdoches hospital with internal hardware and IV antibiotics. He was released home after 4 days but unfortunately, he had to be careflighted to a hospital in the Houston area as he developed a fever and rejection of the hardware. At this time, he has already had his original hardware removed, external hardware applied and his lower leg wound has to remain open causing unfathomable pain. He is still needing more surgery in hopes of saving some of the tissue in his leg amd possibly the leg altogether. CONTINUED PRAYERS ARE NEEDED FOR THE DAYS TO COME as there is still so much unknown.

As many know, Shane is one of the hardest working men out there and is always willing to help others in need. It is time for us to give back to such a giving man. I know many of you have been on the receiving end of Kristie's unquestioned loyalty to her friends, family and neighbors when we have our own struggles, health needs, sufferings. Please help me and others give back to Shane and Kristie during this time.

Their immediate needs include PRAYER and funding. Shane has been the main income producer and hasn't been able to work and won't for the forseeable future. This is where WE can help initially. ANYTHING helps! They have housing needs in houston, food, gas. They also have their monthly bills that will be adding up.

In the next few weeks, please be on the lookout for information about an auction, possibly fish fry with music event and T shirts to help raise even more money as Shane's work has come to a standstill for an undetermined amount of time.
