For those that do not know, a number of major home and life incidents occurred for myself and my family in the last few months. From various family emergencies, medical incidents, my mother taking on full-time support of my Nana and working a job, and house damages all in a short span. It has come to the point I am asking for help to cover some of the costs of these emergencies, on behalf of myself and my family.

My Nana and late Papa moved in about 50 years ago, and it has been the home for my family since then. This house my grandparents lived in, as well as my mother, aunt, and late uncle. The attached in-law apartment has also been a home for many in my family over the years. It is where I both grew up, and where I currently live.

In the winter of last year, we discovered water damage in our living room and bathroom. This resulted in major repairs, including the removal of our enclosed porch and repair of our external wall. We are still working on fixing some of the damages caused—all out of pocket, as insurance covered nothing.

Of course, this coincided with several other life challenges. The biggest one is the need to update our septic. We were already set in motion to get the septic updated. We were given an estimate of 40k. And then we got the official quote... 63k. That extra 23k, on top of all the other surprises, has taken a major toll on us. Due to various circumstances, this is being paid mostly out of pocket, and the rest from a personal loan—with the current high interest rates taking a deep cut.

We are all doing what we can, but much has been stacked against us.

Please, if you can donate and/or share this, any amount and spreading of word will be deeply appreciated. My Nana's life savings have virtually been depleted from this. We could not handle another emergency. Any amount will help in going to the cost of the septic and helping us build back and be able to withstand whatever else may come up.
