My name is Abdul Wahab Abu Shaar, and I have the honor of serving as the Principal of the International Leadership School (ILS) here in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

At ILS, we are proud to be the first and only full-time Islamic school in Fort Wayne, serving students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. Our mission is to provide a well-rounded education that nurtures both the academic excellence and Islamic identity of our students, helping them grow into confident, faith-driven leaders of tomorrow.

Alhamdulillah, this year marks a special milestone for our students. For the second consecutive year, our senior class will be traveling to perform Umrah—a life-changing spiritual journey that will deepen their connection with Allah ﷻ and strengthen their sense of purpose as young Muslims.
