Mike continues to fight his battle with COVID, and while he has proven time and time again with each complication how strong he truly is, we know the road ahead of him is long. Mike has been away from his family for over a month and for now remains on a ventilator. Since going into the hospital on November 4th Mike has been placed on a ventilator, suffered from a perforated bowel, a collapsed lung and most recently had a tracheotomy.

During this time Jenni continues to fight her own battle with COVID. She initially required a week long stay in the hospital, while there she developed a blood clot in her leg. She was eventually discharged but unfortunately had to remain on oxygen. She has since grown strong enough to not require the supplemental oxygen but now has multiple pulmonary embolisms requiring a short stay in the hospital and ongoing daily injections to keep them at bay and hopefully dissolve them over time.

To know a Seel is to love one, their family is truly the epitome of community. If you know Mike you know he LOVES to talk to anyone and everyone and will be the first to offer a helping hand. During these challenging times Mike and Jen’s family and communities both past and present have rallied around them in the most amazing ways. They have felt your prayers and appreciate your love and support.

As Jen’s sister I ask that you continue to pray for Mike, Jen and their kids as they navigate this journey and fight each day for strength and guidance. Please consider contributing to the Seel family and the medical bills they will incur.
