Assalaamu alaykoom,
A warm welcome to Afifah School. We are an Islamic faith school based in Old Trafford in Manchester since 2001. Our school caters for children of preschool age to high school. We are a growing school with currently 270 pupils on roll and 70 members of staff.
In order to meet the growing needs of our students and staff, we built two new classrooms in 2019, expanded the size of 3 classrooms during the Covid lockdown and doubled the capacity of our nursery in 2021.
We are excited to share our latest fundraising projects with you which aims to significantly enhance our school's infrastructure and facilities.
Your support will help us to undertake three vital projects:
Firstly, we plan to construct a brand-new office space at the front of the building. This relocation is crucial for improving safeguarding, ensuring our school is a safe, secure and welcoming environment for our pupils, staff and visitors.
The new office will provide our administrative team with a more efficient and collaborative working environment, which will also include a meeting room and two Deputy Head Teacher offices.
Secondly, we are committed to renovating and modernising our school toilets. This essential upgrade will ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our pupils and staff.
Our final project is to build an in-house school kitchen. This will allow us to prepare and serve hot, nutritious meals directly on-site, ensuring that every child and employee of the school have access to healthy food on a daily basis.
