Support our school in Ghana

Donation protected
Dear friends and family,

Solid Foundation School is a grade school in the village of Abouso near Kumasi in Ghana. The school was built by Irene Botchway because there was no other school nearby. With the help of Josefine Woodruff, who was able to raise funds in the U.S. and Germany, they have been able to build a school with three floors that now grants an education to 233 local children from Pre-K through 7th grade.

We're currently looking to raise $5000 to fix the roof and windows due to heavy rains and to upgrade classrooms.

The community is very poor, so tuition is small ($10 per term) and makes it impossible for the school to embark on any projects.

We don't have any organizations helping us with the school, so I really want to support Irene, and these kids' futures depend on it.

Here are a few items the donations will be used for:

1. Replacement of windows with glass due to rain
2. Fixing of ceiling
3. Painting of classrooms.
4. Photo copier machine
5. Printer
6. Replacing the chalkboards with whiteboards
7. Computers (they only have 2 laptops right now)

THANK YOU!!!
