In 2026, Dream Big Cambodia turns 10 years old.

Ten years of learning, growing, believing, and building a better future together.

Ten years made possible by you – our volunteers, supporters, donors, and friends from around the world who believed that every child deserves a chance to dream.

Since 2016, our mission has remained the same:

To transform the lives of children and young adults in the Bakong community of Siem Reap through free English education.

Today, we teach over 300 students aged 3 to 25 in our free community school and public school program – students who dream of becoming teachers, nurses, tour guides, engineers, artists, and leaders of their future.

And now, as we enter our 10th year, we are asking for your support once again.

Because dreams only grow when we nurture them together.

Our Goals for 2026

This year, we are not just sustaining our school — we are honoring a decade of impact while building the foundation for the next ten years.

1. Support Our Local Team – Full Salary Coverage

Our local teachers and coordinators are Dream Big Cambodia. Many of them were once students at the school themselves. Now, they are role models, leaders, and real proof that empowerment works.

• Why it matters: Stability = quality education.

Stable salaries allow our young teachers to continue studying at university while teaching the next generation at Dream Big.

In 2026, we want to:

• Continue supporting our 6 dedicated team members

• Hire 2 new former students ready to step into leadership roles

2. Secure Our School & Homestay – Annual Rent Coverage

Our school is a safe space — a place where children feel valued, supported, and free to dream.

• Why it matters: Without this space, our project cannot continue.

3. Equip Our Students – School Supplies & Learning Materials

Notebooks, textbooks, whiteboards, a functioning printer, and classroom materials — these simple tools make education real.

• Why it matters: Learning begins with access.

4. Tuk-Tuk – Safe Transport for Our Students

It has been a few years that we cannot afford to hire a tuktuk for transportation.

• Why it matters: Many students live far from the school. Without transport, they simply cannot attend.

A new tuk-tuk means accessibility, safety, and opportunity.

• Classroom upgrades for our youngest learners

• Weather-proof spaces to learn year-round, we have built a new roof for the kitchen - common area

• Bathrooms and sanitation improved

• Full salary support for our local team

• A new kitchen area to cook delicious meals

• And improved facilities at our local public school
