Support Simchat Yisrael's Sanctuary Repairs and Facelift

Founded in 1986, Simchat Yisrael is a diverse and welcoming Messianic Jewish congregation serving greater New Haven and beyond.

Our building recently experienced significant flood damage. With a new roof, and much needed repairs, this is also a perfect time to mark an important milestone.

But we need your help.

Next year, in 2026, Simchat Yisrael will celebrate our 40th anniversary, and we have some exciting things in store (stay tuned!).

Along with much-needed repairs, we are also in the process of giving our sanctuary a fresh update, with new paint, carpet, and chairs. We also envision building a partial wall behind the ark, covered with Jerusalem stone, along with new curtains on the sides to highlight the Jerusalem-themed stained-glass windows (which have an important role in our congregation’s history).

Over the last thirty years our building has faithfully served our growth and needs. But now, our beloved synagogue needs our help.

Every donation gets us one step closer to meeting our goal of raising $75,000 to cover the various repairs and updates (new roof, repairing flood damage, refreshing the sanctuary, etc.).
