Hi I'm Alex,

I’ve set up this page for my friend Helen, who took the plunge with her partner a few years ago to create an entirely new way of being and find a different way to do life free from the current system.

They now live in harmony with nature, treading lightly upon the earth as stewards of Porth Agored—meaning “Open Gateway” in Welsh—a sanctuary they are building in the wilds of Wales.

This land has been a refuge for me and my son Thomas during a time of deep healing for both of us. With Helen’s support, I’ve experienced mystery, magic and healing on a level I had never known was humanly possible, and I’ve watched my son come back to life through nature, freedom, and care.

Porth Agored is a place where people, animals, and the earth are honoured. A new Eden - a small piece of heaven on earth.

But now they need help.

They’ve poured everything into this vision—creating space for both themselves and others to heal in a process of deep transformation. Leading the way for those seeking an alternative way to live a life in joy, balance and harmony with nature—yet they’re living hand to mouth while trying to finish the retreat space to hold workshops, care for themselves and the animals, and establish a mentoring business to bring in a more regular income.
