Hi my name is Lamoie Bingham-Polson. A Registered Nurse at the Bellevue Hospital. I am trying to raise funds for the unsung heroes (our nurses) who would have lost loved ones, homes and means of living through the passage of Hurricane Melissa. Some of these nurses were at work helping patients while their houses were flooded and/or destroyed completely, Some of them are still unable to find their kids and other family members, while others have expressed that they dont even have clothes or food. The loss is great both physically and emotionally. So lets helped them to get back on their feet as they too have helped us in our most vulnerable state. The funds collected will be used to purchase items such as food, toiletries, bedding, tarpaulins and also building materials to assist getting these nurses back on their feet with a roof over their heads.
