Support our NGO for the purcharse of solar panels

Hi, my name is Anne Pönisch. I am the deputy manager and treasurer of the NGO Semillas Life.

In 2018, we started the project Semillas Life with our volunteers and staff living together in rented huts and cabins on a small piece of land.

Fortunately, by September 2022 we were able to buy a 2 hectare piece of land in Puerto Inca, Huanuco, Peru, creating an achievable ability to no longer have the need to rent out huts and cabins.

We will begin in January 2023 the construction of cabins for our volunteers and staff.

The land is surrounded by two streams that guarantee us water throught the year, not only providing water for our volunteers and staff, but also to grow a garden and have a few farm animals to provide the Semillas Life project.

Unfortunatly, we cannot say the same for electricity. The land is located in a non-urban, rual area and does not have electricity service. Therefore, it is really necessary to purchase solar panels to make this place a 100% habitable space for Semillas Life. In creating a fully habitable place to live for our volunteers and staff, opportunities become more accessible in helping the children here in Puerto Inca to learn English, as there is no longer a need to rent out a space to live.
