Just to give some insight into costs:
- Moving to another state can range from $2,000-$7,000.
- Renting in Boulder for a two-bedroom usually costs ~$1,400 a month, with the first and last month usually required as a down payment totaling an upfront cost of ~$2,800 just to get into a new lease.
These numbers are not taking into account food costs, etc. Just base living/moving costs. Those look like large numbers, but considering our community has ~100 units. Looking at those numbers:
Donating $50, less than the cost of a fancy Starbucks coffee for a week, we could help raise up to $5,000.
Donating $100, less than the cost of one date night out in Boulder, we could help raise up to $10,000.
