Help Mark Get a Second Chance at Life with a Heart Transplant

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

We are reaching out to you today with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits. My beloved Mark, a cherished member of our Coeur d'Alene community, is in urgent need of a heart transplant.

Due to the sudden and devastating loss of my job as a Front Office Manager, we are now faced with the challenge of maintaining our health insurance coverage through COBRA. Unfortunately, this comes at a significantly higher cost, adding to the financial strain already caused by Mark's urgent need for a heart transplant. Without this coverage, essential medical treatments and medications would be unaffordable, making it vital to continue our insurance and co-pays through COBRA despite the overwhelming expense.

As Mark prepares for surgery, I will undertake the journey from Coeur d'Alene (CDA) to Seattle for the transplant, despite facing overwhelming financial challenges. The costs of COBRA insurance, medical deductibles, and the essential medications needed during recovery are astronomical, totaling $65,000. Without your help, these costs are simply unattainable for us.

Mark has always been an active and vibrant member of our community, with a passion for the Eagles and a deep love for the place he has called home for over three decades. We are asking for your help to give Mark the chance to continue being a part of our lives and our community.
