Hello everyone. I am setting this fundraiser up for my mother, Sue Born! She has been going through quite a few health struggles over the last couple of years. She has a few different medical conditions that affect her. However, it is her breathing that she struggles with the most! She has many breathing flare-ups from her COPD. She was put on oxygen this last year, which does help. Unfortunately, last night she was intubated and admitted to the ICU due to a bad COPD flare-up. We are all just thankful that she is currently stable and resting! We don’t have a lot of other information at the moment. We are hoping and wishing her a fast recovery!

My hope from this fundraiser is that we will be able to help ease the burden of her everyday expenses, and to help us continue adapting her home to make life a little easier for her (e.g. potentially install a walk in shower, etc.)

Over the last few years, her breathing has been gradually getting worse. This last year has especially been the most difficult for her! She’s been in and out of the hospital several times. Fortunately, she is the strongest person I know, and we are all hoping that she will regain her strength quickly and be able to come off of the intubation!

Anyone who knows my mother knows how big of a heart she has. She would be the first to help anyone she could! She’s constantly thinking of others and always has! Especially me and my 3 brothers, our significant others, her grandkids, and our stepfather.
