Support our Mom’s road to recovery
Donation protected
On March 15th, our family received devastating news of the possibility of a cancer diagnosis. After several doctors appointments and trips to the hospital, our worst fears were confirmed. Our mother was diagnosed with Stage 4 Diffused B-Cell Lymphoma.
Many of you know our mom as the sweet, compassionate woman who’s always going out of her way to help others. The woman who will extend an open invitation to a stranger to join a seat at her table for her infamous Sunday dinners. A poshmark master, designer bag enthusiast who loves making other woman feel beautiful. She’s the rock of our family, and although we know she will will do whatever it takes to fight through this merciless disease, we are preparing ourselves for the tough road ahead.
Our father has been an unwavering support to her during this time. If anyone knows him, they know his work ethic is unmatched. He has always been able to provide us with a comfortable lifestyle financially and we have been blessed and extremely grateful for it. However, due to the extensive nature of these treatments we are unable to cover these costs independently. Not nearly enough of the costs were covered by insurance and the sum of medical bills so far has exceeded what any of us could have imagined. The financial burden has been weighing heavily on us a family, and the stress of coming up with these costs has taken away from focusing on healing mom and as a family. Mom is expected to have treatments every 3 weeks until August, so we are anticipating a large sum added to the already piling medical bills.
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference in our Mom’s fight against lymphoma and will provide our parents with relief in the financial aspect of this journey.
Please consider donating and sharing this fundraiser with your friends and loved ones. Together, we support our mom, the heart and soul of our family, and give her the love and support she needs to keep fighting.
