Help support our mom through her battle with non-alcoholic cirrhosis
To our family, friends, and kind strangers,
As many of you know, our mom, Doreen, is in need of a liver transplant. She’s not just a mother to us, but a loving grandmother to seven who adores spending time with them, playing, and offering her wisdom. Our mom has always been the first to lend a helping hand and would stick her neck out for anyone in need. Now, we find ourselves in a position where we need your help to save her life.
For many years, our mom has been living with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), and unfortunately, the disease has advanced into end-stage cirrhosis. After many consultations with her medical team, we’ve learned that the only way to give her a chance at survival is a liver transplant.
While we remain hopeful, the financial burden is overwhelming. The cost of the transplant surgery, recovery, and the ongoing medical needs, including transportation, home-nurse care, and lifelong anti-rejection medications, is far beyond what we can afford on our own.
This journey ahead will be difficult, both emotionally and financially. We are reaching out to our friends, family, and community for support during this challenging time. Your generous donations will help cover medical expenses, recovery costs, and the care she will need in the months and years to come.
Any contribution, big or small, will make a world of difference in giving our mom the fighting chance she deserves. We appreciate your love, support, and kindness as we navigate this journey together.
