I didn’t think I would ever be writing something like this, but our beautiful mom Michele is beginning her journey with cancer. We are heartbroken and scared, and we are asking for help.

Writing this makes everything feel more real, and it has been difficult to process how quickly life has changed for our family. Seeing her go through something this serious has been incredibly hard, and we are still trying to understand and adjust while also doing everything we can to support her.

She is doing her best to stay strong, but this has been physically and emotionally exhausting for her. Our only hope is for her to be able to focus fully on her health and treatment without the added weight of everything else. On top of this, our family has been under financial strain since my stepdad lost his job and has been searching for work for some time now. Between medical expenses, surmounting bills, and everyday living costs, it has become more than we can manage on our own.
