Hi, my name is Juana, and I never thought I’d be here — asking for help. But I’m facing one of the hardest times of my life, and I need support to get through it, for myself and most importantly, for my children. Lately, my health has been rapidly declining. I’ve already had a blood transfusion, and my doctors are concerned. While they’ve said I’m “too young” for colon cancer, that heartbreaking possibility has not been ruled out. I’m in pain, missing work, and undergoing a lot of tests — including a colonoscopy and biopsy, which are urgently needed. 

 The medical costs are overwhelming. Here’s what I’m facing right now:

 • $1,996.10 for a colonoscopy and biopsy

 • $390 down payment for a specialist and two payments of $1,117 for the total cost to be covered. 

 On top of that, I’m trying to keep a roof over my children’s heads and food on the table. I simply don’t make enough to cover everything — and my health crisis is putting incredible stress not only on me, but also on my older kids, who are doing their best to help however they can. No child should have to carry that kind of worry. I’m scared — not just about what the doctors might find, but about what happens if I can’t afford the care I need. I’m fighting not just for answers, but for my life and the ability to continue being here for my children. Any amount you can give will go directly toward these medical expenses.
