After a long hiatus participating in missions, I am so excited to be partnering with my husband and taking 11 students from his youth group from Summit Church here in Buffalo to work with YWAM Ensenada in Mexico, specifically serving in their existing trash dump ministry and working in an orphanage.
After completing YWAM in 2018, I had intended to go back into missions full time, but the Lord had other plans and instead I re-entered the work force, got married, started a business, and had two babies. It is not lost on me how being able to now participate in this missions trip alongside my husband, working with his students and going back to a YWAM base is an incredibly full-circle moment.
As a staff member's wife, our church is covering a portion of this mission cost on my behalf, but I still need to raise $700 for travel and transportation fees. It would mean so much to both Steele and I if you would consider partnering with me and help cover this financial need. I am also praying for a prayer team to surround me, as well as our students.
