Girls on the Path of Change (GPC) was founded by teenage education advocate, Robina Azizi, following the Taliban's takeover of Afghanistan in 2021 and the severe restriction of women's rights and freedoms that ensued. GPC operates with the objective of empowering women, girls, and underprivileged youth in Afghanistan to discover and reclaim their independence and voices by pursuing a quality, online education at no cost through GPC's online learning resources, managed entirely by a team of dedicated volunteers. We strive to bridge the societal and educational gaps in Afghan society, equipping our students/mentees with the resources, knowledge, and confidence to become the architects of change in their lives and communities.
Some reasons why we would appreciate your support:
- We connect talented, high-potential students in Afghanistan with international scholarship opportunities; however, travel and relocation expenses can present roadblocks that intercept their ability to access these life-changing opportunities.
 - Our students and mentors require a stable internet connection and the technological equipment to access our education programs, as well as other remote employment, educational resources, and scholarship opportunities. Your donations will support students and their families in overcoming financial challenges related to technological expenses, in addition to everyday needs for those in financially dire situations.
 - We seek to expand our campaign and educational initiatives; in doing so, we require your support to finalize projects such as web development, partnerships with various organizations and institutions, and content/resource creation.

Your donation marks one more step toward achieving justice, equity, and meaningful change in the lives of our students, teachers, and volunteers- amplifying our impact and bolstering our mission of facilitating stability and prosperity for those who have been wrongfully deprived of their fundamental human rights.
