CANCELLED. In April of 2026, my son Matthew will have a very special ministry opportunity. The Global Missions Department of the AME Zion Church will travel to West Africa under the leadership of Bishop George D. Crenshaw,. This will be a medical missions trip to Ghana and Liberia. Services provided are as follows:

• Free medical and dental care to women and children

• Acute care and general medical examinations

• Dental cleanings and screenings

• Free reading glasses

• Free prescription medicines, medical supplies

• Free give-away bags, clothing, shoes, and toiletries

• Hot meal, water, and snacks

Matthew is excited to be able to work in the many support positions such as registration, give-aways, working with children in arts/crafts/reading, and feeding the community. As you can imagine, this is an expensive undertaking. Monies collected will go to travel and housing.
