We are a mission team from The Fellowship Church in Sweetwater, TN, traveling to Accra, Ghana, from April 28 to May 5 to serve alongside our partner churches in the region. Our five-member team has covered our own travel expenses, but we need your help to fund the essential projects we will be completing while there.

Our Mission

Our goal is to share the love of Jesus through teaching, preaching, and service. During our time in Accra, we will:

Restore Worship: The church's sound system was damaged by a power surge. We will be purchasing and installing a new mixer, speakers, and microphones to restore their ability to worship and teach.

Equip the Next Generation: The children’s ministry has been meeting outdoors or in an abandoned building. Thanks to ongoing support, the new children's facility now has a roof and framed walls, but it still needs wiring, outlets, and fixtures for power. Our team will be purchasing materials and doing the installation.

Host a Bible School: Last time, we expected 50-60 kids, but 300 attended! This year, we will provide Bibles, craft supplies, and meals to support their spiritual growth.

Furnish the New Space: Once construction is complete, we want to help furnish the children’s facility to create a welcoming place for learning and worship.

Train Local Pastors: We will also be holding a pastor’s training seminar to equip church leaders with biblical teaching and ministry resources.

Additionally, some of our team members will be arriving a week early for a special Easter service and community outreach, including an Easter Egg Hunt for the children.
